Officer Buckle and Gloria

What a beautiful story about friendship and love.  Officer Buckle could bot really get his message across about safety until his dog Gloria joined in the picture.  When Officer Buckle realizes that Gloria is acting out his safety tips, he feels slighted and maybe even embarrassed.  Meta fiction aspects of this book deal with friendship and being able to not take yourself so seriously.
