Scorpio Races
Finished Scorpio Races today. In love with it at the moment, IN LOVE!
I love the beach and all things BEACHY. I live 30 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico and South Padre Island. I grew up going to the beach and now I take my own children there. Every summer I like to read at least a few summery, beach themed books. Scorpio Races is not a beachy, summer read. It is terror and despair, loneliness and belonging mixed with hatred and love, then doused with flesh eating horses that emerge from the sea. AWESOME!
I now want to try making some NOVEMBER CAKES:

Main characters Sean and Puck are fantastic. Puck is courageous without ever claiming to be or feeling brave. She is strong and unstoppable, and I love that about her. Plus she has curly hair like me!
This book is not book 1 in a series. THANK YOU! I love a good series, I do. Too many great books have been ruined by becoming a series. Divergent by Veronica Roth, great book! Book 2 and 3, not exactly. I like the way Scorpio Races ended and I don't want to see that marred with follow up filler.
